Various types of plastic surgery (Mammoplasty or Mastoplexy) or complete breast reconstruction after Mastectomy can leave scarring which can easily be camouflaged with our re-pigmentation techniques. After going through what are usually traumatic or emotional experiences we can help women restore their self-confidence by creating the effect of a realistic, three dimensional nipple and areola through carefully applied tonal pigmentation.
MCA is a method of derma-pigmentation using a ‘dry needling’ technique’ which has proven successful in treating a wide range of conditions by softening and flattening scars. The technique can be successful in the treatment of acne scars (atrophic) or raised (hypertrophic) scars from injury or as a result of surgery. Additionally it can be used to improve the appearance of wrinkles & stretch marks, skin grafts, burns and in some cases, Vitiligo
MCA will in some cases stimulate the natural re-colouration of a scar that is white. If this does not work we are able to camouflage scar areas by implanting skin tone pigments to disguise their appearance.
During this procedure the trauma applied to the skin by the action of ‘dry needling’, stimulates the production of collagen which crosses the layers of the skin to replace the epidermis. This is a comfortable procedure which utilises the latest pain control techniques and is only undertaken after an in-depth consultation with your practitioner.
Directly after the procedure the skin will appear scratched and lightly grazed for a few days and the treated area should be kept as dry as possible for 48 hours. Once healed, a noticeable difference in the appearance of the skin will be seen and additional procedures will improve results further.
Unlike Dermaroller, MCA targets specific areas with a single needle which will reduce ‘downtime’ as the healing process is approximately 3-4 days as opposed to 10-14 days with Dermaroller. Additionally, treated areas can also be camouflaged with new mineral make-up to enhance the skins appearance if needed.
Studies show that self-confidence is directly affected by the way that people feel about themselves and how they perceive that others see them. One of the primary areas that can stifle personal positivity is body imperfections, whether openly visible to others or known only by the individual.
By using the very latest techniques, combined with the expertise of our experienced practitioners, natural beauty enhancement provides a range of cosmetic treatments and solutions which can increase your confidence by reducing, removing or repairing flaws in your skin. This can include covering up unsightly scarring from other surgeries, re-pigmentation, restorations or scar camouflage from accidents and injuries.
Permanent makeup is the ideal treatment to help camouflage any type of scarring, whether it is the result of surgery or from an accident. These treatments are effective in returning the skin to its natural tone and will significantly reduce the visual effect of the scarring. This highly skilled technique will not change the texture of the affected area, but simply make it far less visible.
Permanent makeup has also been proven to be successful in camouflaging the effects of Vitiligo. This skin disorder causes pigmentation cells in the skin to die or cease to function correctly, leaving areas of discolouration on the skin. By using a specialist technique to match the original tone of your skin we can treat the area with various shades of pigment to blend the affected area unnoticeably with your natural skin colour. This process is only successful in cases where the Vitiligo has been in remission for at least a year.
